A new laminate floor is usually part of a remodeling or extension of a room, where new paint and new heating are a factor to consider. When planning your new renovation project, plan to be outside the house for a while so that the floor can settle before you start walking on it. Therefore, laminate floors need a little time to acclimate in your home sooner to be installed. Like laminate and wood floors, vinyl also needs to be acclimated to its environment before installation.
The most critical condition is that the indoor environment be stable and constant; acclimating and installing laminate flooring makes no sense in an open environment (i.e., depending on the material and quality of the product, laminate flooring often needs to be acclimated to the environment up to three days before installation). Any new product for laminate flooring, including Swiss Krono, must remain in your home for at least 48 hours in the room it will be installed in to acclimate or get used to a new climate or conditions. If you want to use a sealant, you have to wait for it to dry and cure before entering your newly renovated room. When you first install your hardwood floor, you should wait at least a day before walking on your floors with socks.
